§ 94.05 REMOVAL OF INFECTED TREE BY CITY WITHOUT NOTICE.
Notwithstanding the notice requirements set forth in §§ 94.02 through 94.04, the city may remove any infected tree without first notifying the property owner if, in the opinion of the Mayor, the failure to remove such tree would cause an immediate danger to either persons or property. In the event of such removal without notice, the cost of removal shall be a lien on the premises upon which the tree was situated and the city may file its lien in the Recorder's office thereof, in the same manner provided in the ordinance establishing water and sewer rates.
