§ 134.09 IMPERSONATING POLICE OFFICER OR TOWN OFFICER.
   (A)   Police officers.
      (1)   No person, other than police officers of the town, shall wear or carry the uniform, apparel, badge, identification card or any other insignia of office like or similar to, or a colorable imitation of, that adopted and worn or carried by the police officers of the town.
      (2)   No person shall do or attempt any act to impersonate a police officer.
   (B)   Town officer or employee. It is unlawful to falsely impersonate any officer or employee of the town, or falsely represent himself or herself to be an officer or employee of the town, by any kind of representation, pretense, insignia, sound, clothing or conduct, or exercise or attempt to exercise any of the duties, functions or powers of an officer or employee of the town without being authorized to do so.
