§ 94.06 DOMESTIC ANIMALS AFFLICTED WITH DISEASES.
   It is unlawful for any person to allow any animal afflicted with any contagious or infectious disease to run at large or to be exposed in any public place whereby the health of man or animal may be affected; nor shall any such animal be shipped or removed from the premises of the owner thereof except under the supervision of the Chief of Police or the appropriate health officer. However, if any such animal be impounded under the provisions of this chapter and not timely claimed, the Chief of Police shall destroy the animal and properly dispose of the carcass.
