§ 53.03 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   BULK BRUSH. Tree limbs, large shrubbery and similar landscape waste that cannot be conveniently placed in the yard waste bags.
   CHURCH. A religious oriented nonprofit organization in the corporate limits of the city, as determined by the city.
   RESIDENTIAL USER. A Residential User under Chapter 53 shall be defined in the same manner as a user for service charges and rates for waste water service under Chapter 52. By way of example, a single-family dwelling shall be considered one user and shall be charged one monthly charge as provided in § 53.13 and a duplex shall be considered two users and each user shall pay a monthly charge as provided in § 53.13.
   SOLID WASTE. Refuse, garbage, yard waste, bulk brush and recyclable material.
   YARD WASTE. Compostible organic material consisting of dead plants, weeds, tree or hedge trimmings, grass clippings, and leaves but excluding tree limbs over four feet in length and 50 pounds in weight. YARD WASTE is further defined as follows:
      (1)   BULK YARD WASTE. Hard yard waste which exceed the diameter and length standards set forth in this section.
      (2)   HARD YARD WASTE. Brown stemmed branches and shrub prunings with large diameter stems or trunks not individually exceeding 48 inches in length and two inches in diameter. Christmas trees shall not be included in the definition of HARD YARD WASTE.
      (3)   SOFT YARD WASTE. Grass clippings, leaves, prunings, green stem shrubs and plant stalks not defined as HARD YARD WASTE.
