§ 51.015 REQUIREMENTS FOR CONNECTION TO PUBLIC SEWERS.
   City Utilities shall have the authority to require an owner of real properly to disconnect any geothermal system or downspout, yard drain, sump pump, or other drain which carries the runoff of natural precipitation from a building sewer which drains into a sanitary server, or in areas served by combined sewers where City Utilities reasonably determines, in its sole discretion, that disconnection is appropriate or necessary. Property owners shall have thirty (30) days after notice thereof to comply with any such requirement. A property owner that fails to disconnect a geothermal system, downspout, yard drain, sump pump or other drain as required under this Section shall be subject to an additional fee per month for long as the connection remains, as set forth in § 51.074.
