(A) There shall be in attendance at all times one or more qualified persons who has successfully completed current life guarding, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and standard first aid courses given by the American Red Cross, YMCA, YWCA, or equivalent organizations, except as otherwise provided in 410 IAC 6-2-11, as amended.
(B) Additional attendants shall be required to maintain a patron load of not more than 75 persons per life guard when the pool is open for use.
(C) The supervision requirements of this section shall not be applicable in those situations where a hot tub or spa exists independently without an associated swimming pool.
