(A) Establishment. There is hereby created the Park and Recreation Board pursuant to KRS 97.550. ('88 Code, § 35.55) (Ord. 1969-11, passed - -69)
(B) Qualifications; compensation; term of office. Members appointed to the Park and Recreation Board must be residents of the city, shall serve without salary, shall take the oath of office as prescribed by KRS 97.560, and, with the exception of the initial Board appointed, shall hold office for a period of two years or until their successors are appointed and qualified. (C) Operation. The Park and Recreation Board shall be operated in accordance with KRS 97.550 through 97.600 and any other applicable statutes. ('88 Code, § 35.57)
