§ 94.04 PLANTING BETWEEN STREET AND SIDEWALK RESTRICTED.
   (A)   No person shall plant or allow to be planted any trees, shrubbery, flowers or other kind of plant or vegetation in the spaces that are bordered on one side by sidewalks and on the other side by curbs, streets or highways within the city, without the prior approval of the Director of the Public Works Department.    (B)   The purpose of this section is to prevent interference with access to sewer pipes, gas pipes or other underground apparatus that are or may be placed under the surface of the ground beneath this space. (M.B. 2, p. 142, passed 8-14-29)
