§ 2-11-8 AUTHORITY.
   The Construction Board of Appeals shall hear and decide appeals of orders, decisions or determinations made by the Building Official relative to the application and/or interpretation of the city’s Building Code, Plumbing Code, Electrical Code, Housing Code, Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings and any other code adopted pursuant to Title 3 of this Code whether expressly or by incorporation. An application for appeal shall be based on a claim the true intent of these codes or rules legally adopted thereunder have been incorrectly interpreted, the provisions of these codes do not apply, or an equally good or better form of construction is proposed. The Board shall have no authority relative to interpretation of administrative provisions of these codes, nor is the Board empowered to wave requirements of these codes. The provisions of this chapter and the rules of procedure adopted by the Board hereunder shall supersede all provisions pertaining to appeals and boards of appeals set forth in the codes adopted pursuant to Title 3 of this code of ordinances.
