10-17-2: SPECIAL USES:
The following uses may be carried on only under a special use permit:
Those uses involving the storage, utilization or manufacture of materials or products which decompose by detonation.
Apartment houses, row houses and similar multiple-family dwellings, provided the yard areas and lot coverage comply with those required in the R-6 Multiple-Family Dwelling District.
Automobile, tractor or other machinery, wrecking and used parts yards provided that any such use must be completely enclosed within a building or a solid painted wall or uniformly painted solid fence, at least twelve feet (12') high or as high as the highest exposed storage.
Boarding or rooming houses, provided the yard areas and lot coverage comply with those required in the R-6 Multiple-Family Dwelling District.
Cement, lime, gypsum, or plaster of paris manufacture.
Distillation of bone, coal or wood.
Fertilizer manufacture, including anhydrous-ammonia and bone grinding.
Garbage, offal, or dead animal reduction or dumping.
Gasoline or other petroleum products, refining or wholesale storage, or asphalt plants.
Glue, size or gelatine manufacture.
Junk, iron, rags or waste paper storage or baling, provided that any such use must be completely enclosed within a building or a solid painted wall or uniformly painted solid fence at least twelve feet (12') high or as high as the highest exposed storage.
Lodging rooms, provided the yard areas and lot coverage comply with those required in the R-6 Multiple-Family Dwelling District.
