Except as permitted by special use permit, no use of property in an R-5 District shall be carried on except the following:
Uses permitted in the R-4 District.
Golf course, country clubs, tennis courts and similar recreational uses provided that any such use be not operated primarily for commercial gain.
Home occupations.
Museums, libraries, parks, playgrounds or community theaters when operated by the City.
Noncommercial greenhouses and plant nurseries.
One-family dwellings converted to a two-family dwelling.
Public schools and churches.
Signs, as permitted or required in chapter 18 of this title.
Temporary buildings for real estate office or construction purposes when used in conjunction with a new housing development.
