The following uses are permitted in the R-1 One-Family Dwelling District:
One-family detached dwellings.
Agricultural uses such as field crops, truck gardening, berry or bush crops, tree crops, flower gardening, nurseries, orchards, aviaries and apiaries including a greenhouse but not including a salesroom, roadside stand or conducting a retail or wholesale business from the premises.
Parks, playgrounds, libraries or community theaters, when publicly owned and operated.
Golf course, country clubs, tennis courts and similar recreational uses provided that such uses are not operated primarily for commercial gain.
Home occupations.
Temporary real estate office in conjunction with a new housing development, limited to the selling or renting of new units in such developments and in no case to be operated for more than one year following completion of construction of said housing development.
Permitted accessory uses, including off-street parking facilities, in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 19 of this Title.
Schools, public denominational or private, elementary and high, including playgrounds and athletic fields auxiliary thereto.
Churches, rectories, seminaries, convents, monasteries, and similar religious institutions, including dormitories and other accessory uses required for operation.
Temporary buildings for construction purposes for a period not to exceed the completion date of such construction.
Signs, subject to the provisions of Chapter 18 hereof. (Ord. B-39, 1969)
