(A) The applicant shall be responsible for obtaining liability insurance coverage and Dram Shop insurance (if alcohol is to be served by the event organizer) for the special event, in amounts as determined by the City. The applicant shall also provide the City with a certificate of insurance, naming the City as an additional insured, sufficiently in advance of the scheduled event.
(B) The applicant must also sign a hold harmless and indemnification agreement with the City in which the applicant holds the City harmless and indemnifies the City of any negligent, reckless, or intentional act attributable to the applicant or the applicant’s officials, employees, agents, or volunteers.
