§ 11-4-2 LAND SUITABILITY.
   (A)   No land shall be subdivided which is found to be unsuitable for subdividing by reason of flooding, ponding, poor drainage, adverse soil conditions, adverse geological formations, unsatisfactory topography or other conditions likely to be harmful to the public health, safety or general welfare unless the unsuitable conditions are corrected to the satisfaction of the city.
   (B)   If land is found to be unsuitable for subdivision for any of the reasons cited in this section, the governing body shall state its reasons in writing and afford the subdivider an opportunity to present data regarding the unsuitability. Thereafter, the governing body may reaffirm, modify or withdraw its determination regarding the unsuitability.
