(A) All bicycles used within the city shall during the hours from one-half hour after sunset and one-half hour before sunrise display a headlight on the forward part of the bicycle visible for a distance of at least 300 feet, said headlight to be affixed to bicycle and with an illuminating power to equal that produced by a 1.25-volt electric bulb and battery.
(B) There shall also be displayed on the rear part of the bicycle a red reflector or red light not smaller than one and one-half inches in diameter.
