All buildings fronting on streets running north and south shall be numbered commencing at Avenue A. All such buildings thus fronting on a north and south Street and lying south of Avenue A, but north of Avenue B shall be numbered from 101 on the west side of the street and from 102 on the east side of the street and all such buildings lying south of Avenue B, but north of Avenue C shall thus be numbered commencing with 201 and 202 on the west side and east side of said streets respectively and thus continuing southward to the city limits with an additional hundred added for each east and west avenue crossed.
