§ 8-3-4 ILLEGAL DOCKING.
   Any person landing a boat at or in, or making any use of, a float moored in the adjacent waters or building or structure on the waterfront contrary to the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and punished as specified, in § 1-4-1 of this code; provided that, in the unimproved waterfront and adjacent waters there shall have been placed by the Parks Board or a member thereof upon such float, building or structure, a sign to the effect that “this structure is illegally maintained and any person using the same will be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor”, with the words “Parks Board of the City of Fort Madison, Iowa” noted thereon; and, provided that, in the improved waterfront and adjacent waters, the lessee shall have been also given a five-day written notice of non-compliance with this chapter.
