(A) For the minor’s first and subsequent violations of § 7-11-3(A) of this chapter, the minor shall be guilty of a simple misdemeanor. Upon conviction, the person shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $200 or to perform community service as ordered by the court.
(B) For the parent/guardian’s first and subsequent violations of § 7-11-3(B) of this chapter, the parent/guardian shall be guilty of a simple misdemeanor. Upon conviction, the person shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $200 or imprisonment not to exceed 30 days.
