The members of the city’s Reserve Officers Unit shall be subject to the minimum standards of physical, educational, mental and moral fitness as shall be established by the Director of the state’s Law Enforcement Academy. Additionally, the members of the city’s Police Department Reserve Officers Unit shall be subject to the rules, regulations, policies and procedures as set forth by the Chief of Police. The Chief of Police shall make the bylaws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures available to all members of the city’s Police Department Reserve Officers Unit which shall govern the conduct of the members. All members of the Reserve unit shall observe and obey the orders of superior officers, Chief of Police and Mayor.
