§ 7-8-2 SIGNS AT CROSSINGS.
   It shall be the duty of all persons, operating railroads within the City to erect and maintain signs with white grounds and black letters at each place where such railway intersects any public street, containing the words “RAILROAD CROSSING” and to erect and maintain audible signs which are clearly visible at night at such crossings as the Council may by resolution direct, a copy of which resolution to be served on the local representative of the firm or corporation involved and the Iowa State Commerce Commission.
