(A) No single household shall own and keep more than a total of four dogs or cats, over six months of age, or any combination thereof.
(B) (1) As a prerequisite for renewal, existing kennel licensees shall be required to present evidence:
(a) Of having complied with the State of Iowa Animal Welfare Rules and Regulations contained in Iowa Admin. Code Chapter 67; and
(b) Of compliance with all applicable zoning laws.
(2) Applications for renewal shall be filed with the City Clerk between July 1 and August 1 each year. The annual renewal fee will be $100.
