§ 7-1-3 SPECIAL POLICE OFFICERS.
   The Mayor may, in case of emergency, appoint such special police officers as may be deemed proper, reporting such appointments to the City Council at the next regular meeting. Such special appointments shall continue in force until such meeting of the Council, unless sooner terminated by the Mayor.
