§ 6-5-77 SECURITY DEPOSIT.
   (A)   All new water service customers shall be required to post and maintain a security deposit of $100 for water service. The customer’s security deposit shall be held in its entirety until the customer’s account is closed.
   (B)   Any interference with a service line that has been locked out shall be deemed a violation of the rules and regulations governing the water system. A disconnect notice will be generated for each customer. The day following the due date on the disconnection notice the city will disconnect service to any customer who has not paid the past due amount or made payment arrangements.
