Water meters shall be read monthly and bills for water service use shall be issued monthly by the utility billing office or the party responsible for reading the water meters. Those bills shall be mailed by ordinary U.S. mail to the responsible parties within, as nearly as practical, water bills shall be due 30 days from the billing date. If the thirtieth day following the billing date should fall on a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday, the bill shall be due on the next regular business day thereafter. Payment for all water billing shall be made to the city’s utility billing office.
