The city will own, install all service lines, water meter pits, water meters and meter valves. All meter pits will be installed in the ROW unless both parties agree on a different location and property owner has granted an easement for meter pits on private property. The property owner will be responsible for all associated cost for installing water service line from meter pit to dwelling. Anything greater than a standard three-fourths inch service line must be approved by the city and all costs will be billed to customer.
