When a customer is in default of payment of an account for water supplied to his or her premises, or fails to comply with these rules and regulations, the water service may be terminated. Further, the city reserves the right to use all legal means to collect unpaid bills including, but not limited to, certification of unpaid water service bills to the County Treasurer for collection with the real estate taxes assessed against the premises being provided the water service in accord with Iowa Code § 384.84.
