If a water leak should occur the plumber shall make verbal contact with the city or its agent previous to any excavation. Water leaks shall have priority and must be repaired immediately or the city may discontinue water service. All non-leak type of repairs or disconnects will be completed within seven days of the date of notification. The customer will pay all cost of the repairs for their service line. This will include the service line leaving the meter pit to the dwelling. If the property does not have a meter pit the customer will pay all cost from the curb stop to the dwelling.
