§ 1-6-5 APPOINTMENTS.
   (A)   At the first meeting in July following each biennial election, the Council shall appoint a Clerk and an attorney to two-year terms.
   (B)   The attorney shall be a duly licensed and practicing attorney.
   (C)   The terms of the Clerk and attorney, who are in office on the effective date hereof, will be extended to the first meeting in July following the next biennial Council election.
