The city will require peddlers and transient merchants, or the sponsor of transient merchant plazas, to show proof of liability insurance. The city requires insurance of $300,000 per occurrence, $600,000 annual aggregate coverage and $300,000 per occurrence products liability coverage. Transient merchants, operating solely within a transient merchant plaza, will not be required to provide liability insurance; provided that, the sponsor of the transient merchant plaza must provide such insurance.
