Any owner directly affected by a decision of the Building Official or the Building Official’s designee regarding this chapter may file with the Building Official, an appeal in writing to the Construction Board of Adjustment and Appeals in accordance with Title 2 of this code of ordinances. The basis of any appeal shall be limited to a claim that the true intent of this chapter or the rules legally adopted thereunder have been incorrectly interpreted or applied, or that the requirements of this chapter are adequately satisfied by other means. Such appeal shall be filed within ten days of the decision of the Building Official. Appeals filed after ten days of said decision shall be deemed waived and shall be dismissed by the Building Official.
