§ 3-5-8 INSPECTIONS REQUIRED.
   (A)   Inspection of rental housing units. All rental housing units are required to be inspected. The owner or local contact representative, or his, her or their designee, shall be present at the rental housing property at the time of the inspection. If the owner or local contact representative designated another person to be present at the time of inspection, that person must present an “inspection designee” form completed by the owner or local representative to the inspector at the time of inspection. The time of the inspection shall be the time indicated in the notice issued pursuant to § 3-5-9 of this chapter, or the time that the inspection was properly rescheduled in accordance with § 3-5-10 of this chapter. Violation of this division (A) may result in the imposition of a reschedule fee.
   (B)   Inspections of owner-occupied dwellings.
      (1)   Inspections of owner-occupied, single- family dwellings, condominiums and cooperatives shall occur only upon request by the owner to the Building Official and only the standards of §§ 3-5-18(A) through (N), 3-5-19 and 3-5-20 of this chapter shall be applicable.
      (2)   Inspections of owner-occupied, single- family dwellings, condominiums and cooperatives containing a family plus one or two roomers shall occur only upon request or complaint to the Building Official and the standards of §§ 3-5-18 through 3-5-20 of this chapter shall be applicable.
