(A) Any person who violates any provision of this title for which a specific penalty is not provided shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not less than $20 nor more than $100. (KRS 189.990(1))
(B) Any person who violates § 70.07 shall be fined not less than $60 nor more than $1,000 or be imprisoned for not more than six months, or both. In the case of a private vehicle, all lighting and other equipment used in violation of § 70.07 shall be confiscated and forfeited to the county. If a member of a regular or volunteer fire department or rescue squad violates any provisions of § 70.07(F), he shall, in addition to any other penalty provided under this section, be immediately dismissed from his membership or employment with the fire department or rescue squad and shall be disqualified from being employed by or being a member of any fire department or rescue squad in the Commonwealth for a period of three years. Upon conviction of a second offense he shall be permanently barred from employment or membership in any fire department, rescue squad, police department, or sheriff's office in the Commonwealth, nor shall he be permitted to operate any public safety vehicle as defined in § 70.02. (1) The license tax or fee imposed by §§ 70.55 through 70.57 shall bear a penalty of $1 for each calendar month or fraction thereof, for which the same remains unpaid, with a maximum penalty of $3 for any license period, this penalty or penalties to become due and payable on the first day of April after the tax becomes due and payable. Any person purchasing or acquiring a motor vehicle or commencing to use a motor vehicle on the streets of the city and any new resident moving into the city after April 1 shall have ten days thereafter in which to procure the license without payment of any penalty. The civil penalties provided by this division (1) shall be in addition to the criminal penalties provided for by the following division (2).
(2) Any person who shall fail, neglect, or refuse to obtain, pay for, and display a license as set forth in §§ 70.55 through 70.57 shall upon conviction be subject to a fine or penalty of not less than $5 nor more than $25 and each day that the owner, assignee, user, lessee, operator, or driver of the motor vehicle shall operate the vehicle in violation hereof shall be considered a separate offense.

(D) Any person who violates § 71.02 shall be fined not less than $60 nor more than $500, or be imprisoned for not more than 30 days, or both. (KRS 189.993 (8))

(E) Whoever violates the provisions of §§ 71.20 through 71.22 or Chapter 75, Schedule III shall be subject to the fine schedule set forth in KRS 189.394.
(F) (1) Except as provided in division (2) of this division (F), any person who violates the weight regulations set forth in Chapter 75, Schedule IV shall be subject to the same fine as set forth in the fine schedule of KRS 189.990(2)(a).
(2) Any person who violates a posted bridge weight limit on a state-maintained bridge that is more than 75 years old shall be fined:
(a) Five hundred dollars for the first offense;
(b) One thousand dollars for the second offense within a one year period; and
(c) Two thousand dollars for any subsequent offense within a one year period.
(3) The Transportation Cabinet shall erect signs warning drivers of the increased fines in these divisions (2) and (3). Signs erected under this division (3) shall be placed in such a manner that drivers are given adequate warning in order to exit the road prior to crossing the bridge. If warning signs are not erected in accordance with this division (3), the fines in this division (3) shall not apply and violators shall be fined under division (1) of this division (F).
