Special comp time will be earned when police or fire employees are required to attend court proceedings on a scheduled day off. Special comp time will be limited to Fremont community events such as Fremont Festivals, Fremont Parades, and Fremont Public Safety emergency situations if scheduled by the Police or Fire Chief and approved by the Town Council President. Special comp time will only be allowed when the employee is called to work on a scheduled day off. The Clerk-Treasurer will keep all records of any special comp time.
