(a) All special events, which include, but are not limited to, parades, marches and assemblies, that perform activities on public roadways shall follow the below-described route:
Locust Avenue, north from Lincoln Boulevard; Main Street from Locust, east to State Street; north on State Street to Exchange Avenue; Exchange Avenue, west to Van Buren Avenue; Van Buren Avenue, south to Stephenson Street; Stephenson Street, west to Locust Avenue.
(b) This route is not applicable to high school homecoming parades, marathons and/or other events as designated by the Chief of Police, with good cause shown. However, the Chief of Police may specify routes for the same.
