440.01 DIRECTION OF TRAFFIC BY POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS DURING EMERGENCIES, PARADES, FUNERAL PROCESSIONS, ETC.

In emergencies, as public safety or convenience may require, and for parades, funeral processions and other unusual events, the Police Department or Fire Department, or other authorized person, may direct traffic contrary to the provisions of this Traffic Code.
