The following signs shall be permitted in the P-1 Professional Use District:
(a) Non-flashing, non-illuminated or illuminated with illumination shielded signs, as follows:
(1) Nameplates and identification signs, subject to the following:
A. Height. No such sign shall project higher than one story or fifteen feet above the curb level, whichever is lower.
B. Projection. No such sign shall project beyond the property line into the public way.
C. Supports; size. All signs must be on a common support. Signs may have a maximum size of twenty-five square feet per face in area for lots having 100 linear feet of frontage or less. For lots exceeding 100 linear feet of frontage, the size of the face may be increased .25 square feet in area for each liner foot of lot frontage exceeding 100 feet.
(2) Signs accessory to parking areas, subject to the following:
A. Area and number. Signs designating parking area entrances or exits are limited to one sign for each such exit or entrance and to a maximum size of two square feet each. One sign per parking area, designating the conditions of use or identity of such parking area and limited to a maximum size of nine square feet, shall be permitted. On a corner lot, two such signs, one facing each street, shall be permitted.
B. Projection. No such sign shall project beyond the property line into the public way.
C. Height. No sign shall project more than seven feet above the curb level.
(b) Non-flashing, non-illuminated accessory signs as provided for in Section 1468.25(a)(1)E.
