No person shall discharge any firearm or other weapon as set forth in Section 692.03, except in an authorized shooting gallery, on private grounds or within a private residence under circumstances when such instrument can be discharged so as not to endanger any persons or property and so as to prevent the projectile from traversing any grounds or space outside the limits of such gallery, grounds or residence, or except as otherwise authorized by ordinance or statute.
