612.15 ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER.

(a) The City shall employ an Animal Control Officer from time to time. He or she shall be an employee of the City and subject to the provisions of Chapters 288 and 290 of the Administration Code. The Animal Control Officer shall enforce the provisions of this chapter

(b) The Animal Control Officer shall receive such salary and expenses as Council shall fix in the annual appropriation ordinance.
