290.09 PAY PERIODS.
   The pay period for all employees of the City, including sworn fire and police personnel, shall be biweekly. The first biweekly pay day shall be May 31, 1996, for hourly rated employees. The first biweekly pay day for salaried employees and for sworn fire personnel shall be May 31, 1996. The first biweekly pay day for sworn police personnel shall be May 31, 1996. Successive pay days for hourly rate employees shall be biweekly on Fridays thereafter from May 31, 1996. Successive pay days for salaried employees and for sworn fire personnel shall be biweekly on Fridays thereafter from May 31, 1996. Successive pay days for sworn police personnel shall be biweekly on Fridays thereafter from May 31, 1996. Pay for all employees of the City, except sworn fire and police personnel, shall be for the two work week periods beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday and ending two weeks later at 7:00 a.m. on the Sunday immediately prior to the scheduled pay day, and shall include all regular and overtime wages for such two work weeks. Pay for sworn members of the Fire Department shall be for the two work-week periods commencing at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday and ending two weeks later at 8:00 a.m. on the Sunday immediately prior to the scheduled pay day, and shall include all regular wages and all overtime wages earned for the most recently completed twenty-seven day work period ending on or before 8:00 a.m. on the Sunday immediately prior to the scheduled pay day. Pay for sworn members of the Police Department shall be for the two work-week periods commencing at 6:00 a.m. on Sunday and ending two weeks later at 6:00 a.m. on the Sunday immediately prior to the scheduled pay day, and shall include all regular wages and all overtime wages earned for the most recently completed twenty-eight day work period ending on or before 6:00 a.m. on the Sunday immediately prior to the scheduled pay day.
