(a) Emergency Overtime. In emergencies, a department head may prescribe reasonable periods of overtime work to meet operational needs. Such overtime shall be reported and justified as required by the City Manager. Complete records of overtime of employees shall be maintained by each department or office head and filed for record by the department or office head with the City Clerk's office.
(b) Overtime Generally. Overtime policies shall be as specified in the City of Freeport Employee Handbook as amended from time to time or as specified in the relevant collective bargaining agreement.
