§ 130.01 CELLAR DOORS.
   (A)   It is unlawful for the owner or occupant of any building having a cellar opening upon any street or sidewalk to fail to keep the door or other covering thereof in good repair and safe for the passage of traffic on the street or sidewalks.
   (B)   If the owner or occupant of any building shall neglect or refuse to repair properly any door or covering for 24 hours after notice from the Supervisor of Streets or Town Engineer, the Supervisor or Engineer shall cause the repairs to be made at the expense of the owner or occupant.
   (C)   A violation of this section is considered a petty offense with each day such activity continues being considered a new offense. For petty offense penalties, see § 130.99.
