§ 1-7-44. CUT-IN CERTIFICATES.
   (A)   No electric light or power company shall supply electricity or power to any electrical equipment for the installation of which a permit is required hereunder, and no person shall connect any such electrical equipment to a supply of electricity or power, except in accordance with a cut-in certificate issued by the Department. If after inspection the Department finds the installation to be in conformity with the provisions of this article, it shall issue a cut- in certificate therefor, authorizing the use of the installation and connection to the supply of electricity and power and shall send such certificate to the electric light or power company supplying the same. Such certificates may be issued for an entire installation or part thereof.
   (B)   Temporary cut-in certificates shall be issued for temporary installations authorized pursuant to § 1-7-63, and such certificates shall set forth their expiration date, shall expire upon such date unless extended, and shall be cancelled by the Director of the Department at any time if the installation is not maintained in a safe manner.
