§ 70.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99.
   (B)   Any person violating any of the provisions of § 70.01 shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine not to exceed $100 or by imprisonment not to exceed 30 days, or both the fine and imprisonment.

   (C)   Any person operating or causing or knowingly permitting those vehicles to be moved or operated (as seen in § 70.02) shall be liable to a penalty not to exceed $50 and, in addition thereto any violation thereof shall constitute disorderly conduct and any person violating the same shall be a disorderly person.

   (D)   Failure to comply with any of the provisions of §§ 70.15 or 70.16 shall be deeded a violation and the violator shall be liable to a fine of not less than $10 nor more than $100.

   (E)   Failure to comply with § 70.31 shall constitute a violation and shall be punishable by a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $250. Any person who violates § 70.31 after having been previously convicted of violating § 70.31 within the last five years shall be punishable by a fine of $250. The parent or legal guardian of a person under the age of 16 accused of violating § 70.31 will be held responsible for the violation, and may be summoned to answer the violation in a court of competent jurisdiction. In no event shall it be a defense that the parent or legal guardian has exercised due diligent supervision over the activities of the person under the age of 16.
