It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge any gun, pistol, or other weapon within the corporate limits except a peace officer in the performance of his or her duty. It shall be unlawful for any person to shoot an air gun or sling-shot within 100 yards of any street. This section shall not apply to discharge of firearms within the interior of an indoor shooting range, as defined and permitted under Chapter 152 of this code.
