No business license shall be issued unless the business to be engaged in at the location specified shall be in compliance with the Town's Unified Development Ordinance. The Town Manager shall develop a zoning compliance statement to be verified by the Land Use Administrator on each application for a license pursuant to this chapter, and no license shall issue until such verification is obtained. In the event that it is determined by the Land Use Administrator that any licensee or applicant for a business license is conducting or desires to conduct a business activity pursuant to a business license which activity would be in violation of any provision of the Unified Development Ordinance with respect to permitted and prohibited uses, the Town Manager shall refuse to issue the license, and shall so notify the licensee or applicant in writing.
