4-1-5: CITY POUND:
The Mayor, with the consent of the Council, shall select a suitable enclosure, and equip the same for use as a City pound for the safekeeping of estrays running at large within the limits of the City. (1935 Code § 84; amd. Ord. 1, 8-1-1967; 1999 Code)
