A. Offensive Stench: It shall be unlawful for any person to permit any offensive stench to arise from any premises belonging to him or under his control in the City, and if any such condition shall exist, the City police may notify said person to abate same within twelve (12) hours, and if such person shall fail so to do, said police may enter upon said premises and abate such condition at the expense of such person. B. Contaminated Foods: If shall be unlawful for any person to produce or offer for sale for human consumption, any food, meats, confectionery or drinks that are impure or dangerous to human life or health or that are kept or produced under insanitary conditions. C. Expectorating In Public: It shall be unlawful for any person to spit upon or throw any chewed tobacco upon the sidewalks or the floor of any public building in the City. (1935 Code § 64; amd. Ord. 1, 8-1-1967)
