§ 111.003  HOURS.
   (A)   All places licensed by virtue of this chapter shall close at the hour designated hereafter and shall remain closed until the next applicable opening hour. Persons, other than bona fide employees, shall vacate the premises where the alcoholic liquors are sold within 15 minutes after the designated closing hour. However, nothing herein shall be construed to prohibit the serving of food after the closing hour established herein upon the premises used that the licensee specifically designated for the consumption of food but no alcohol can be present in said food consumption area after the closing hour.
   (B)   All places operating under a Class “A” or Class “B” license shall close at 1:00 a.m. Sunday and remain closed until 7:00 a.m. the following Monday. All other days of the week said Class “A” or Class “B” licenses shall close at 1:00 a.m. and remain closed until 7:00 a.m.
   (C)   All places operating under a Class “C”, Class “D”, Class “E” and Class “G” license shall close at 1:00 a.m. Sunday and remain closed until 12:00 noon Sunday and must again close at 11:00 p.m. Sunday until 7:00 a.m. Monday. All other days of the week the places operating by virtue of the four classes of licensed places specified in this section shall close at 1:00 a.m. and remain closed until 7:00 a.m.
   (D)   All places operating under a Class “F” license shall sell alcohol only at the times specified in said license.
   (E)   When December 31 falls on a Sunday, all classes of licenses, other than Class “F”, may open and sell and dispense alcoholic liquors on said day from 8:00 p.m., December 31, until 1:00 a.m., January 1.
   (F)   Any licensee may apply to the Liquor Control Commissioner for a special event license (e.g.,  Super Bowl Sunday) upon application to the County Clerk. Said fee for the special event license shall be $10. Granting of said special event license and hours of operation will be at the sole discretion of the Liquor Control Commissioner.
   (G)   The County Sheriff’s Department is hereby designated by the Liquor Control Commissioner to make regular unscheduled inspections of liquor establishments to enforce the provisions of this section.
