(A) Parental leave may be granted for full-time employees with temporary disability due to pregnancy, childbirth or any impairment thereof, and miscarriages for a period not to exceed 12 weeks.
(B) (1) The employee may use accrued sick leave, then accrued vacation leave, any compensatory time (if applicable) and the remaining period off without pay.
(2) Parental leave, once all other leave has been exhausted, is eligible for sick leave sharing, per § 30.079 of this chapter.
