Before a garage sale can be conducted, the homeowner or occupant of the premises at which said sale shall be held shall obtain a permit therefor from the Village Clerk. In addition to other information that may be required by the Village Clerk, the permit shall contain the name of the applicant and the duration of the sale. The fee for such permit shall be one dollar ($1.00). No additional permit shall be issued for the conducting of a garage sale on the premises covered by the permit until at least six months have expired from the date of expiration of the original permit.
